Coach Schulz has directed the POPA program for 28 years. Dale graduated from Evansville High School in 1974. He served the the United States Marine Corps for 3 years, then enrolled at the University of Wisconsin in Madison. He taught in the Oregon School District for 34 years, teaching 4th grade at Brooklyn Elementary School. He has recently retired from the classroom. Coach Grovesteen started the POPA program in 1989. He is a member of the Wisconsin Football Coaches Association Hall of Fame. Recently, the Evansville football field was renamed Ron Grovesteen Field in his honor. Coach Grovesteen began teaching/coaching in Evansville in1973. He was Head Track Coach, JV Basketball and Defensive Coordinator for Football. In 1981, Ron became the Head Football Coach, Varsity Assistant in Basketball, and continued as Track Coach. Coach Grovesteen currently is Co-Head Coach of the Boys Varsity Basketball team. He taught Social Studies throughout his career.
1970-1973 Ron worked at Beloit Memorial. He taught Social Studies, worked on the varsity football staff, 9th grade track and volunteered in the basketball program.
1965-1970 Ron Grovesteen attended Milton College and lettered all 4 years in Basketball, Football and Baseball.
1961-1965 Ron attended Tomah High School and lettered all 4 years in Football, Basketball
and Baseball. He was All-State 2 years in Football, Basketball and Baseball as well.

Coach Hrdlicka has coached in POPA for the past 8 years. Jay is the Defensive Coordinator and Assistant Head Coach for Varsity Football. He volunteers as a Junior Varsity Assistant Baseball Coach. Jay is a Blue Devil Gridiron Board Member. Jay serves the Evansville School District as a Special Education Assistant in the classroom. Jay coached and played in several National Fastpitch tournaments(NAFA), finishing in 3rd and 4th place. Jay also coached and played on 6 state championship teams.
Coach Garth Coats serves the Evansville School District as a Special Education Teacher. He is the Varsity Offensive Line Coach with the Evansville-Albany Football program. Garth is also a Middle School Boys Basketball Coach as well as freshman baseball coach. Coach Coats was a 7 year POPA participant, grades 6-12. Garth has also coached in the POPA program for 14 years. Coach Coats is a UW-Whitewater graduate with a degree in Health and Human Performance. Garth was a 4-year letter winner with the UW-Whitewater Football program, where he also earned rings for winning 2 National Championships.

Coach Carly Mohns recently graduated from the University of Iowa with a Sport and Recreational Management degree and minor in Entrepreneurship. She earned a full scholarship to play basketball for the University of Iowa Hawkeyes from 2014-2018. Carly also played for UW Green Bay as she completed her graduate studies. Carly is a Brodhead High School graduate. She participated in volleyball, basketball, and track all four years. She went to state in volleyball, basketball, and track her senior year. Carly is looking forward to working with athletes of all ages.

Coach Webb is a certified Level 1 USAW Olympic Strength and Conditioning Coach. Logan participated in the POPA program as a student-athlete as a junior and senior while attending Albany High School. Logan was a 2-year letter winner as a member of the Evansville-Albany football team. He was selected to be a captain of the team his senior year as well.

Coach Krupke won a State Championship while serving as Head Girls Softball Coach at Brodhead High School. Coach Krupke has been a POPA coach for 3 years.

Kendall is the Head Coach for the Girls and Boys Soccer programs, and is the Co-Head Coach of varsity boys basketball. Coach Buttchen participated in the POPA program as an Evansville High School athlete. Coach Buttchen has coached in the POPA program for 2 years. Kendall's wife, Heather, has also coached in the POPA program.

Coach Tess Thornton. She is currently the middle school track coach and teaches Kindergarten in the Evansville School District. Coach Thornton graduated from Evansville High School in 2012. She participated 4 years with the Dance Team and 4 years with the Track and Field Team. Tess competed at the state tournament 3 years as a member of the Dance Team. She also competed at the State Championship in Track and Field her senior year. Coach Thornton graduated from UW-Stevens Point in 2016. Coach Thornton coached 1 year with the POPA program.
